| My
picks for Tarot would be Motherpeace Round Tarot Deck by Vickie Noble. I actually
recommend to get a deck, whatever deck size you'd like, but to get the larger book,
because the teachings and understanding in her actual book contains a long history on
women. To specify, the Motherpeace Tarot Deck actually recovers the positive, nurturing,
peace-oriented values of the pre-patriarchal times and she brilliantly combines art and
history and mythology and folklore and philosophy and comparative religion with an
informed spiritual and feminist perspective, which is amazing. It is great for someone
just starting out, who wants to learn how to throw say, one or three cards a day to get
into practice, before actually throwing spreads. Book $9.95, Book/Deck Set, $24.95 |

| My
recommendations for Tarot cards would also be the Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck, but
the books that I would recommend to actually learn from regarding this deck would be the Tarot
Handbook by Angeles Arrien, or Mirrors of the Soul by Ziegler, because it not
only has the interpretation of the card, it also has affirmations and suggestions that are
more of a very helpful manner for people to consider as a way of transformation for
themselves. Small Deck $15.00, Large Deck $18.00 |

| A
step up from the medicine cards would be, for me, the Lakota Sweat Lodge Cards, because
they have a shamanic interpretation, but also they have some great poems and meditations
from the Great Spirit to you, that are very healing and through those particular
divination cards, I found that it was a beautiful way to be able to connect with the
Divine through just pulling one or two cards a day. It also goes into the tradition
where the card and understanding came from as well, which is also very powerful. $29.95 |
